      POSITION: Administrative Assistant/ Data Specialist

      LOCATION: School-Based Health Center, Mt. Ararat High School

      HOURS/STATUS: School Year 2022-2023
      Three (3) days per week 7:30 am – 2:00 pm (Total of 800 hours/year)

      CLOSING DATE: Until qualified candidate found

      Essential Job Functions:
      • Schedule daily student appointments for the Nurse Practitioner which includes emailing the student the appointment information and a survey to fill out
      • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase awareness and enrollment
      • Assist Nurse Practitioner and occasionally School Nurse with everyday operations of the SBHC
      • Work closely with other departments and have good relationships with SAO, the Main office and the school nurse
      • Order medical supplies and office supplies as needed
      • Handle student enrollments and annual enrollment campaigns. Prepare packets for next year in the Spring of the school year
      • Set-up and manage patient medical records
      • Perform data entry and generate reports via grant database two times per year
      • Attend relevant meetings and trainings 4-5 per year for Muskie School and 2 SBHC Advisory Board meetings per year
      • Other duties as assigned
      Requirements:
      • High School diploma with 1-3 years related work experience
      • Graduate of medical assistant/secretary program preferred
      • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient records
      • Ability to learn and use computer technology and prepare data reports
      • Comfort working with adolescents and understanding of clinical confidentiality
