The Clinical Data Specialist is responsible for gathering necessary patient services data for analysis and reporting using the AIDS Institutes AIRS program, HIV/QUAL system and other database programs relevant to NYS DOH AIDS Institute reporting requirements. The Specialist will work closely with Program Directors and Providers to collect, analyze and present outcome data to the multi-disciplinary team. The Specialist will participate in quality improvement projects and analysis as part of the Quality Improvement team.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in science, social science, mathematics, public health, systems management, IT or related field; OR an Associate's Degree in science, social science, mathematics, public health, systems management, IT or related field and 2 years of experience in related field.
Experience with data entry, quality improvement or data management preferred.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Salary Range:$31,000-$40,000, DOE
