Data Security Specialist Intro:
On behalf of one of our GovtTransportation clients; Procom Services is seeking a dedicated Data Security Specialist to join their IT team for a 1 year onsite contract. with possible extensions in Tallahesse, Floriday.This role is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of our data systems. The specialist will be the first line of support within the TP district, focusing on access management, security compliance, and process improvement.

Data Security Specialist Job Details:
As a Data Security Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring service desk queues, resolving support tickets, and ensuring compliance with FDOT security practices. The role involves maintaining security documentation, assisting in inventory tracking for the IT Cost Center, and participating in various team projects. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of IT work experience, with at least one to two years focused on information security. The candidate will also attend OIT Staff Meetings, Operations Team Meetings, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Data Security Specialist Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of IT work experience, including systems analysis, applications development, database design, and administration.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in information security.
• Strong understanding of security issues, techniques, and implications across all computer platforms.
