Position Overview: The hospital is seeking a highly qualified and motivated PACU Nurse Manager to oversee thePost-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The PACU Nurse Manager will lead a team of dedicated PACU nurses and hospital staff members in providing exceptional patient care services in a 120-bed facility located near San Francisco, CA. The PACU RN Manager is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care to our patients while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the 24-hour operations of the PACU department, ensuring the delivery of patient-focused services across the continuum of care.
• Develop and maintain clinical standards of care and practice within the PACU department.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and staff members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation and budget management within the PACU department.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and development of nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with other departmental managers and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes and enhance interdisciplinary communication.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices within the PACU department.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
