The Clinical Education Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Education Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the PACU Nurse Manager will oversee two post-surgical units and manage a staff of 50 total FTEs. The PACU Nurse Manager will organize the staff scheduling of both units, ensure regulatory compliance, lead professional development and quality control projects, and manage the department's fiscal budget.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of New York
- Progressive leadership experience in post-surgical setting
