The Clinical Education Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Education Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Operating Room Nurse Manager will have 7 direct reports and lead a dedicated team of 125 FTEs consisting of Registered Nurses, Surgical Technicians, and other support staff. In this comprehensive role, the RN Manager of Surgical Services will focus on operational efficiency, process improvement, quality and safety, and patient experience initiatives. This is a stellar opportunity for an experienced RN Manager of Inpatient Surgery to be an influential change agent with an active department at a prestigious hospital.
