Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A leading acute care hospital located in central North Carolina is now seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This system is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers a wide array of medical services including acute and skilled care, outpatient services, emergency and critical care, women’s services, and much more. This location now boasts roughly 150-beds and also serves as an academic institution for medical students, interns, and residents.
Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, the Licensed Physical Therapist will work within an outpatient center and will occasionally service the acute setting. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient documentation, developing personalized physical therapy plans, monitors patient treatments and response to treatments, consults with physician teams, provides instruction on home care, assists with training in-house clinical staff, supervises the Physical Therapy Assistants, and serves as an active member in the department quality control program.
