Clinical Ethicist offers guidance to patients, their families, and professional staff on ethical, legal and policy issues and concerns stemming from clinical interactions between health care professionals and patients. Provides guidance to the institutional ethics committee pertaining to policy formulation and educational and case review activities. Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Clinical Ethicist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Green River Horizons is looking for a dedicated clinical director. The clinical director is in charge of managing the GRH clinical department including; day to day administration of tasks including maintaining records, hiring new staff, keeping policies and procedures up to date and preparing the department's budget. They will work to improve the complete care quality of our facility and work to enhance relationships with vendors who work with our facility. The clinical director will need to be dedicated to promoting the trust and professionalism of our facility within the community.
