Additionally, Clinical Facilities Planner develops and designs feasibility studies for review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Research Oncology Coordinator will report to the Clinical Research Department Supervisors and Directors. The facility is dedicated to providing ongoing educational and career growth opportunities and offers a robust incentive program to help employees achieve their long-term goals. The Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator is expected to interact with institutional investigators, other members of the healthcare team, service line members, and research participants/families for clinical research trials. The Oncology Nurse Research Coordinator will work closely with the members of the clinical research team to develop highly effective tools for close monitoring and reporting of trials and coordinate the timely study activation and submission of protocol amendments.
The ideal candidate possesses at least 2 years of clinical nursing oncology and 2 years of clinical research experience as well as 2 years of experience working with clinical oncology research trials. Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nursing license is also required, and ONCC (Oncology Nursing Certification) and CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Prof) certifications are highly preferred. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, and a Master's degree is highly preferred.
