Oversees construction progress, ensuring that timing, costs and contract requirements are adhered to. Being a Clinical Facilities Planner supervises construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects. Works with hospital departments to review design changes, equipment specifications/substitutions, purchasing and accounting procedures. Reporting to the Manager, Production Control & Planning, the Maintenance Package Planner ensures that all aircraft maintenance packages are complete so as to enable the Production Control Supervisor to lay-out the job boards efficiently and allow for effective and timely maintenance execution and aircraft re-delivery.
This job requires extensive research of OEM maintenance documentation mostly held online and in work packages. Ensure that all the necessary Task Cards are included in order to undertake the job in accordance with the Workscope.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma/GED or OJT. Preferably has a degree in Aviation Management and/or has Held a mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant for commercial aircraft.
EXPERIENCE: Has had recent production planning experience for at least 3 years. Has had diversified maintenance experience on large aircraft with an Air Carrier, Commercial Operator or Certified Repair Station.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Extensive familiarity with MPDs, technical procedural and schematic OEM maintenance documentation.
Proficient Computer user with working knowledge of online research and usage of OEM portals.
Good written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of where to find relevant information.
