Clinical Facilities Planner jobs in Orlando, FL

The planner is responsible ensuring all loads and trucks in their defined region are assigned and moving while maximizing on time delivery performance and minimizing deadhead within our network.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Identify all trucks within their assigned region which do not have freight available and communicate multiple times daily to the account management team (9am, 1pm and 4pm); this needs to be accomplished a minimum of 3 business days in advance
• Identify all loads within their assigned region which do not have a trucks assigned; review current plans in the region to determine if plans can be changed and communicate to fleet operations; communicate any remaining on time performance issues to the account management team; this needs to be accomplished a minimum of 3 business days in advance
• Interact with other branches evaluating where there may be freight or truck capacity that can be supported by company assets in the region assigned
• Key Performance Indicators:
  • On Time Delivery Performance
  • Deadhead Percentage
  • Miles per Truck per Month

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required, 2 year degree preferred
• Experience: Previous office experience required
• Skills/ Abilities: Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills: verbal & written
• Ability to be an effective team member
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office; AS400 preferred
