Production Planner

Summary: The Mitographers, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Production Planner to join our growth focused, forward thinking organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Scheduling jobs
• Reserving materials
• Establishing a raw-goods inventory
• Maintaining the Printflow scheduling system
• Coordinating expedited jobs
• Developing job plans for maximum job efficiency and velocity
• Creating Letters of Quote
• Developing reporting methods
• Recommending job plan changes

 Qualifications:

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills
• Solid analytical skills to identify problems and opportunities
• Report-writing experience (preferred)
• Printing industry process knowledge (2-3 years preferred)
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience with ISO quality systems (preferred)
