Oversees all aspects of construction including progress, timing, costs and contracts. Being a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager directs construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects. Works with hospital departments to ensure design changes, equipment specifications/substitutions, purchasing and accounting procedures are in alignment with business objectives. CapMetro is currently seeking a Manager, Facilities Planning and Development to join the Facilities Management team. This position supports the strategic planning for development and maintenance including a living Facilities Master Plan that aligns facility solutions with the Agency’s transit planning and operations groups to achieve CapMetro’s goals and objectives. This position interfaces with senior department heads, and all other personnel as required to complete its duties. Completes project management and contract administration as required for departmental goals and objectives with staff utilizing contractors and consultants. Works closely with other internal groups such as Building Maintenance, Capital Projects, Enterprise Program Management, IT, Operations and Maintenance Oversight (O&M), Marketing and Communications, Procurement, Real Estate, Public Safety, and Strategic Planning and Development. Develops programs in a manner to be advanced over for project delivery and construction efforts.
