Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages professional services for assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of hospital buildings and facilities. Oversees all aspects of construction including progress, timing, costs and contracts. Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in engineering or business with four years management experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

ten years experience in a healthcare facilities environment which included four years management experience.
Job Knowledge & Skills:
Requires strong working knowledge of facility utility systems, applicable codes, regulations and analytical and organizational skills.
Requires in-depth analytical and organizational skills in order to manage and coordinate facility service needs, effectively develop staff, support the development and monitoring of budget, short and long range planning and resolve technical and human resource problems to ensure optimal departmental services
Demonstrates knowledge of management theory and practice to effectively lead associates and promote team work and group achievement.
Demonstrates skills to work and meet deadlines effectively and efficiently manage workloads and staffing.
Demonstrates strong use of the English language both verbal and written.
Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external customers, as needed
