The Respiratory Department Director will collaborate closely with Respiratory department heads, physicians, and administrative personnel to align respiratory services with the hospital's overall mission and objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Respiratory Services will provide regular updates on departmental performance, drive initiatives for continuous improvement, and advocate for the advancement of respiratory care practices within the organization.
The ideal Respiratory Department Director candidate will possess a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) designation. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
