Clinical Informatics Coordinator jobs in Bangor, ME
Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible for the creation, implementation, and analysis of data and information systems required for patient care initiatives. Works with healthcare providers to identify useful clinical data and establish methods of collecting and storing it. Being a Clinical Informatics Coordinator performs analyses to create insights and identify patterns and areas for improvement. Communicates with providers and management to learn the organization's processes and priorities, and to provide takeaways in the most accessible and convenient way possible. Additionally, Clinical Informatics Coordinator typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Informatics Coordinator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, Clinical Informatics Nurse Educator will lead the system assessment, training, and optimization of informatics projects and ongoing staff education. The Clinical Informatics Nurse Educator will work with various hospital leaders and staff to plan and evaluate educational programs, serves as the liaison between the healthcare team and information services, leads system integration and implementation, and works to enhance the overall quality of care.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing
- Registered Nurse RN license in state of Maine or ability to obtain
- Strong knowledge of hospital-wide quality and informatics standards
