Clinical Informatics Coordinator jobs in Metairie, LA
Clinical Informatics Coordinator is responsible for the creation, implementation, and analysis of data and information systems required for patient care initiatives. Works with healthcare providers to identify useful clinical data and establish methods of collecting and storing it. Being a Clinical Informatics Coordinator performs analyses to create insights and identify patterns and areas for improvement. Communicates with providers and management to learn the organization's processes and priorities, and to provide takeaways in the most accessible and convenient way possible. Additionally, Clinical Informatics Coordinator typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Informatics Coordinator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The position of Associate Engineer offers support to many business technology products and services. Support may be with hardware, such as desktop computers, printers, scanners or handheld devices or it may be with software programs. The Associate Engineer will generally track all instances of support by creating IT tickets using ticket-tracking software. This position is PART TIME and works onsite in Covington, Louisiana, Monday - Friday.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across multiple IT environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Desktop OS
- Setup of new laptops/PCs and install/upgrade of standard software applications
- Provide level 1 Help Desk support to clients
- Install new software releases, system upgrades, patches, etc.
- Willing to be in on-call rotation with all other engineers
- Work directly with Sales to work on complex design for customer presentations
- Work directly with vendors to support line-of-business applications
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be strong in Communication Skills
- Must have a working knowledge of Office365
- Must have a working knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server infrastructures
- Must have a working knowledge and skillset to troubleshoot LAN environments
- Must be able to diagnose problems remotely
- At least 1 year experience working on a help desk or experience at an MSP
- Requires a customer service mindset and professionalism throughout all interactions
- A , Network , Security , CCNA, and Microsoft certifications are not required, but highly desirable
