Responsibilities of the RN Emergency Department Coordinator include:

• Overseeing ED patient care by fostering collaboration with physicians and other disciplines during the night shift. 
• Offering role model guidance, mentorship, and clinical expertise to your colleagues. Providing immediate support and solutions, acting as a facilitator for both patient and staff satisfaction.
• Fostering a positive work environment.
• Assisting in establishing and implementing patient care policies and protocols, staying updated on evidence-based processes, and actively participating in committees.

The ideal RN Emergency Department Coordinator will have their BSN and a minimum of 3 years of emergency department experience. Prior Charge Nurse or other leadership experience is preferred but not required.
