The RoleAs we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Clinical Labs Product Management - Informatics Intern who will be involved with supporting pre-product launch activities and go to market strategies with laboratory informatic solutions as we quickly expand our global customer facing informatics solutions. Will also provide support in researching global healthcare informatics trends and aligning research with multiple business unit stakeholders. This is a remote position based in the US.
The ResponsibilitiesSupport development of go to market strategy for product launches.
Assist in global pricing strategies, including acquisition and SaaS modeling.
Gather and analyze data to support and develop economic models.
Informatics research, including market trend analysis, voice of the customer and competitive intelligence.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Support the development of product launch plan and go to market strategy.
The intern will present their work to a cross-functional group.
Required:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or graduate program majoring in Business Management, Marketing, Informatics Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum Year in school: 3rd year or higher
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Ability to accept employment without sponsorship
Strong interest in informatics, specifically in the healthcare industry
Business acumen with familiarity with pricing and financial modeling
Knowledge of market trends and future growth areas as it related to informatics and the healthcare industry
Ability to develop relationships with the team and across different functions
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Experience developing presentations, reporting and analyzing
Interns should be prepared to fully commit to the start and end dates of on or about May 22 through August 18, 2023.
Preferred:
Knowledge of informatics architectures and integrations
MBA in progress
The pay range for the Internship Program is between $16/hour to $30/hour. The Pay rate will be determined by the year in school, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate. Benefits are not included for this position.
