Respiratory Care Clinical Coordinators are responsible for the development, implementation, and control of activities in Respiratory Care regarding their specific areas of expertise; adult critical care, diagnostics and physiologic monitoring, and/or neonatal/pediatric critical care. They provide continuing education to department staff and other disciplines as needed. The coordinators work closely with the Respiratory Care Supervisors to assure staff demonstrate and maintain their competence in procedures within their area of expertise. All coordinators maintain skills in geriatric through neonatal care procedures.
