    To qualify for this position, you must meet the education requirement and specialized experience listed below.

    Education Requirement:
    In order to meet the Basic Requirements for a Clinical Research Informatics Specialist, GS-0601, you must possess a Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree in a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences, or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

    Specialized Experience Requirement:
    In addition to meeting the Basic Qualifications, you must demonstrate in your resume at least one year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: providing leadership and direction for the development of biomedical informatics to support clinical research programs; managing projects to develop clinical informatics for precision medicine research; coordinating and collaborating with other scientists or organizations on the development of clinical informatics solutions; and providing technical advice on the scientific and programmatic management of clinical research informatics aspects.
