NAV/BC ERP System Specialist

(Navision Software)

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Director, Global IT, Unger Enterprises

Primary Purpose of Position

The ERP System Specialist provides application level support for the company’s ERP, Navision/Business Central, and its associated Jet report writer. This role has global responsibility in supporting the US and European ERP systems.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Ensure current documentation of Navision(Nav)/Business Central(BC) procedures for major business functions
• Provide user training for Nav/BC and Jet Reports
• Provide support for Nav/BC functions and applications
• Map and maintain core business processes as applicable
• Establish and maintain appropriate levels of security for Nav/BC
• Provide on-going system support to ensure users’ ability to perform their functions and to provide accurate and timely business documents and reports

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years hands on experience working with Navision(Nav)/Business Central(BC)
• Must have strong understanding of requirements gathering, planning/scheduling
• Knowledge of business process design

Additional Desired skills

• Lanham or Anveo EDI experience with mapping and trading partner setups
• Navision planning setup (MRP) experience in a light manufacturing environment
