Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Accountable for the day-to day maintenance, support, training and optimization of the Medical Staff Services credentialing, and peer review platform.
Responsibilities
•Handles issues that are significant, complex, multidisciplinary, sensitive, and confidential. •Maintains a working knowledge of how the platform works for day- to-day operations and ongoing reporting. •Acts a functional and technical system expert. •Acts as a liaison between vendor and Medical Staff Services Operations. •Assures the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data housed within the platform is in accordance with system and hospital policies. •Validates data and maintains the data dictionaries across the system and supports all users by providing education, ongoing assistance, reference, and troubleshooting. •Assist in creating and maintaining productivity, reports, and information in the development of data entry and operational policies and procedures and in revisions of credentialing related forms. •Assists with integration and optimization of the platform and with the development and implementation of credentialing workflows as well as peer review workflows to ensure efficient and effective alignment of processes. •Leads and/or participates in special project teams. Competencies: •Possesses and/or develops a strong grasp of the medical staff operations and the cultures of organization. •Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation. •Problem solving: Ability to address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge and skills •Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers •Extensive knowledge of computer systems and programming
