Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Being a Clinical Information System Specialist collaborates with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical systems and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Information System Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. TRAINING:
Job training for an information technology specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.

- Computer systems concepts.
- Planning, designing, and testing computer systems.
HELPFUL SKILLS:- Interest in computer science.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in the installation of computers.
REQUIRED ASVAB SCORE(S)Skilled Technical (ST): 95.
