Clinical Information System Specialist provides on-site technical support to clinicians to ensure the proper and effective use of clinical information systems and improve the delivery of patient care. Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Being a Clinical Information System Specialist collaborates with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical systems and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Information System Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinical Information System Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:
    Installs, configures, and maintains operating system, layered products and servers, in support of business processing requirements, while maintaining compliance with licensing and maintenance agreements. Troubleshoots problems, responds to escalation and performs repairs as needed. Schedules hardware and software installations and upgrades and maintains them.

    Top Must Have Skills:
    • Experience in a GMP environment (3 years of experience)
    • Experience with automation and business system administration (i.e. Rockwell, PI, MES, DeltaV, etc. platforms)
    • Strong communication and project management skills
    • Science or engineering degree

    Day to Day Responsibilities:
    • Monitor system hardware health metrics
    • Execute system administration tasks
    • Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering staff for system maintenance activities
    • Execute standard and complex system changes

    Red Flags:
    • No GMP experience
    • Only available remotely
