The Respiratory Department Director’s leadership will directly impact the health and well-being of our community, all while enjoying the perks of being just a stone's throw away from the sunny shores of Florida.

The Respiratory Department Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Care Department, steering administrative planning, control, and coordination. The Respiratory Care Department Director will receive support from a dedicated team of respiratory managers, respiratory therapists, respiratory technicians, and support staff. 

The Respiratory Department Director will collaborate closely with Respiratory department heads, physicians, and administrative personnel to align respiratory services with the hospital's overall mission and objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Nursing Officer, the Director Respiratory Services will provide regular updates on departmental performance, drive initiatives for continuous improvement, and advocate for the advancement of respiratory care practices within the organization. 

The ideal Respiratory Department Director candidate will possess a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) designation. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
