Clinical Information Systems Director directs and coordinates implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical nursing information systems used to improve nursing operations. Conducts analysis to understand the needs of nursing staff and develop systems and strategy that supports and optimizes patient care and aligns with organizational objectives. Being a Clinical Information Systems Director researches and evaluates new technologies and tools used to provide new sources of data and streamline nursing practices. Plans the implementation, communication, and training for new technology deployments. Additionally, Clinical Information Systems Director requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to top management. The Clinical Information Systems Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.     Position: Information Systems Administrator

    Reports To: Information Systems Chief Engineer

    Direct Reports: IS department technicians(s)

    Qualifications: Good understanding of Hardware, Software and Systems Flow used in a J.I.T. seat manufacturing operation. Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous IS experience is preferred.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Monitor systems to ensure availability to all users.
    • Perform necessary maintenance and cabling to support network availability
    • Coordinate and implement network security measures provided by Corporate IS.
    • Meet with Department Supervisor to discuss progress of work, resolve problems and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met.
    • Supports production efforts to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
    • Perform functions that ensure computers are properly configured and maintained in a manner that provides maximum value and efficiency.
    • Assist in maintaining network hardware and software as directed.
    • Evaluate proposed projects to assess adequacy of existing systems and recommend suitable replacements.
    • Administer and maintain Manufacturing hardware and equipment.
    • Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
    • Ensure safe operations.
    • Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
    • Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
    • Knowledge of Information Systems’ practices and procedures.
    • All other duties as assigned.
