The IS Coordinator is an integral part of our operations and manages our Information Systems in coordination with contracted IT support and various vendors. The IS Coordinator manages the Information Systems in coordination with contracted IT support and various vendors. The position manages the practice’s EMR in collaboration with EMR vendor and supports all modifications related to the EMR including, but not limited to, forms, development, interface development, custom lists, protocols interface development, handouts, and letters. The ideal candidate will be skilled in examining and reengineering operations and procedures, formulating policies and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports, knowledge of current standardized ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT medical billing codes as well as knowledge of continuous quality improvement management principles and practices.
