Clinical Information Systems Director directs and coordinates implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical nursing information systems used to improve nursing operations. Conducts analysis to understand the needs of nursing staff and develop systems and strategy that supports and optimizes patient care and aligns with organizational objectives. Being a Clinical Information Systems Director researches and evaluates new technologies and tools used to provide new sources of data and streamline nursing practices. Plans the implementation, communication, and training for new technology deployments. Additionally, Clinical Information Systems Director requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to top management. The Clinical Information Systems Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Information Systems Project Manager

  • The IS Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of department-specific projects as well as facilitating department participation in cross-functional initiatives. The Project Manager collaborates with IS Leadership to create, organize, execute, and complete specific projects. This includes performing discovery, managing tasks, facilitating deadlines, communicating with IS Leadership about the state of said projects, and ensuring projects stay on track; elevates project risks in a timely, appropriate manner. The Project Manager serves as liaison between departments as it relates to project scope, schedule, risk, quality, and resources. The Project Manager facilitates process improvement initiatives at the direction of IS Leadership. The IS Project Manager will develop and maintain the Project Management System, and Project Portfolio. He/she shall be responsible for developing processes based on industry best practices to perform all aspects of a successful project lifecycle from intake to close.

    Requirements:

      • Advanced computer skills.
      • Functional understanding of network infrastructure, hardware (desktop, mobile, peripheral devices), applications development, and service desk initiatives.
      • Project management and leadership skills specific to managing projects and the teams involved with them.
      • Information System background, preferred.
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
      • Ability to translate business need to technology and vice versa.
      • Self-motivated.
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues which occur during project execution.
      • Proficient in time management and organization.
      • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.
      • Accountable to delegate.
      • Ability to motivate project team members.
      • Able to balance multiple project timelines simultaneously.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to communicate and solve conflicts effectively.
      • 5 or greater years’ experience in leadership or project management.
      • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
