Clinical Information Systems Director directs and coordinates implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical nursing information systems used to improve nursing operations. Conducts analysis to understand the needs of nursing staff and develop systems and strategy that supports and optimizes patient care and aligns with organizational objectives. Being a Clinical Information Systems Director researches and evaluates new technologies and tools used to provide new sources of data and streamline nursing practices. Plans the implementation, communication, and training for new technology deployments. Additionally, Clinical Information Systems Director requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to top management. The Clinical Information Systems Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. We are looking for someone to fill the Account Manager/ IT Director role for our clients which is a mix of account management and technology consulting.

    This position entails regular client touches, handling client escalated issues, client meetings, client technical summaries, client technical budgets and client proposals. The Account Manager/ IT Director will have an in depth knowledge of the client and is responsible for having Quarterly Business Review meetings with each one.

    The Account Manager/ IT Director is the one to devise the client's IT strategy and ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place. The goal is to ensure that information technology adds the maximum value for our clients so as to facilitate the success of their business.

    Account Manager/ IT Director Responsibilities

    • The Account Manager/ IT Director is responsible for IT consulting and account management for assigned clients.
    • Engage with client at a strategic level to align technology to business objectives and goals
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of the client's I.T. environment
    • Review monthly audit reports conducted by ASG's Technology Alignment Manager for alignment and accuracy
    • Work collaboratively with the client to help develop a technology roadmap and budget
    • Schedule, prepare, and lead client Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
    • Direct and organize IT-related projects
    • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management
    • Monitor and ensure client satisfaction

    • Client experience in system architecture, IT consulting and C level interaction.
    • Ability to apply business acumen and strategy to advise on technology planning.
    • Ability to achieve “Trusted Advisor” status with business decision makers
    • Ability and desire to provide exceptional client service
    • Can plan IT infrastructure and manage the team responsible for deploying it.
    • Experience with creating scope of work, schedule, and cost estimates for IT projects.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment with little to no supervision
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously; with a great attention to detail, and a sense of urgency without compromising quality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, management, and peers.
    • Excellent writing and documentation skills
