Clinical Information Systems Director directs and coordinates implementation, design, and maintenance of clinical nursing information systems used to improve nursing operations. Conducts analysis to understand the needs of nursing staff and develop systems and strategy that supports and optimizes patient care and aligns with organizational objectives. Being a Clinical Information Systems Director researches and evaluates new technologies and tools used to provide new sources of data and streamline nursing practices. Plans the implementation, communication, and training for new technology deployments. Additionally, Clinical Information Systems Director requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to top management. The Clinical Information Systems Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. What We Are Looking For
Under the supervision of the Director of Space Planning & Interior design, the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Manager, supports the entire Facilities Management Department, and is part of a team that includes the Director, the Campus Space Planning Manager, the Campus Space Records Technician, and the Campus Interior Designer. The GIS Manager is responsible for managing the campus mapping in GIS, assisting with the CAFM (computer aided facilities management) system and dashboards, and assisting in updating record drawing files in CAD (computer aided design) as needed. This role supports the University’s strategic initiatives, including academic strategic planning, data governance, interoperability, spatial utilization and reporting, and the University’s space locations in Ignite.
