A highly respected hospital in the Bay Area is actively looking for a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join its team!

This full-service hospital offers a wide range of services including Women’s and Children’s Services, Cardiology Services, Cancer Care, Ortho, Neurology, Emergency Services, as well as ICU and Medical Surgical Services. 

Reporting to and working alongside the ICU Manager and Director, the Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing expert support to the Critical Care department. The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will review and evaluate best nurse practices and ensure the department is adhering to standards of care. The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will also provide staff education as well as assist with hiring and training new staff within the ICU. In addition, the Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will serve as a preceptor on the unit to both new graduate RNs and orient RNs new to the department. The Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist will take pride in providing exceptional and evidence-based nursing care.
