Personal Care Aide - CNA - STNA - PRN

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential assistance and support to individuals requiring homecare services. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment as required.
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings as needed.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus).
• Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably in a homecare setting.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to clients' individual needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (is required for the role).

Working Hours and Compensation:

• The working hours may vary depending on the needs of the clients, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
