In addition, this 50 bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Med Surg Services. The department is a part of a fantastic system that has received performance achievement awards as well as other accolades. The Acute Care Registered Nurse will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Central US.

The Acute Care Registered Nurse will report directly to the Med Surg Manager. Supported by two Med Surg tenured charge nurses and a Supervisor this person will join a fantastic team of dedicated nurses willing to help them learn and grow.

The Acute Care Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and coordinate personalized care for patients. The care provided by the Acute Care Registered Nurse must be individualized, with age and developmental needs taken into consideration. The Acute Care Registered Nurse must be able to adhere to departmental policies and procedures. The position also requires collaboration with team members, other RNs, and Physicians to be able to provide the best care and outcomes possible. Critical thinking skills are a necessity.  The Acute Care Registered Nurse will also have opportunities to develop and grow their own careers through education and quality improvement initiatives while being supported and mentored by fantastic leaders and other staff members.
