Reporting to the Manager of the Perioperative Department, the Nurse Supervisor PACU will serve the Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Pre-OP and PACU areas. Working in collaboration with the management team of the Surgical Department to ensure quality, safe patient-care in the Perioperative Department, this Supervisr will be supported by a wonderful staff of CPAN RNs and exceptional Techs.
In this Team-Oriented Department, the Nurse Supervisor PACU will be responsible for daily scheduling for the PAT, Pre-Op and PACU areas and at times may need to use their experience in the PACU to support their staff when needed. They will assist the Nursing Residency program in educating recent graduates of Nursing School on the inner workings of the PACU Department. This Supervisor will be responsible for developing competencies within the department and ensure that the competencies are met.
