Clinical Nurse Specialist serves as a clinical expert providing teaching, mentoring, consulting, research, and systems improvement in a specific practice area or with a specific patient population. Coordinates and guides clinical activities/projects of nurses within a practice area. Being a Clinical Nurse Specialist collaborates with members of the health care team to design and implement safe, cost-effective, and evidence-based care strategies. May require a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Clinical Nurse Specialist requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Nurse Specialist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Nurse Specialist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Field Reimbursement Specialist

    You are an expert facilitator: you open doors, foster communication, and bridge the gap.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the management of defined accounts in a specified geographic region in the respiratory therapeutic area, specifically supporting our client’s products. The Field Reimbursement Specialist (FRS) will execute the collaborative territory strategic plan through partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which may include call center services (HUB), sales, market access, and other collaboration partners. The FRS will have a direct impact on a patient’s ability to access the therapies they need. You will:

    • Manage daily activities that support appropriate patient access to our client’s products in the provider offices and work as a liaison to other patient assistance and access support services offered by our clients (i.e. HUB, call center, specialty pharmacy services)
    • Serve as payer expert for defined geography and able to communicate payer changes to key stakeholders in a timely manner
    • Offer office education during the entire access process which may include formulary coverage/utilization management criteria, insurance forms & procedures, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeal, and/or claims resolution
    • Educate physician office staff on the use of our client’s patient support services, including web based provider portals

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2 years’ experience in public or private third party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales
    • Experience with specialty/biologic self-injectable (pharmacy benefit) or physician administered (buy and bill/medical benefit) products
    • Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access processes
