Reporting Structure: The Emergency Room Nurse Manager will be directly reporting to the Director of the Emergency Room. They will also be supported by a dedicated group of Charge Nurses, ER RNs, and CNAs. The ER Nurse Manager will have all the support and resources available to help lead this busy department. 

Job Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Nurse Manager:

• Supervise and lead a team of emergency room nurses, ensuring adequate staffing and effective resource allocation
• Oversee patient admissions, triage, and discharge processes to maintain efficiency and quality of care 
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and streamline operations
• Implement and enforce hospital policies and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff 
• Evaluate and manage department budgets, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance 
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and addressing performance gaps and implementing staff development programs

• RN License 
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 
• 3 years of staff experience in the ER 
• 2 years of recent leadership experience
