Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. As a Clinical Operations Analyst II, you will provide ongoing training, direct support to caregivers in the proper and optimal use of clinical information systems while under the supervision of the designated Manager and in collaboration with Administrative leadership.     Preferred Qualifications:

    • RN, LPN, MA, or similar clinical license.

    • Strong clinical background and knowledge of patient care setting and clinical practice.

    • Extensive Epic experience - support, documentation, go-lives, upgrades.

    • Experience creating and running reports using Tableau, Excel, SQL

    • Experience in troubleshooting, education and training of clinical applications

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides ongoing training, direct support to caregivers in the proper and optimal use of clinical information systems.

    • Maintains thorough understanding of site specific physician adoption plan.

    • Reviews progress towards goals and objectives detailed in the plan.

    • Coordinates and provides attending training for the electronic medical record.

    • Coordinates and provides caregiver training and support using a variety of methods: classroom, computer based training, and one on one training.

    • Maintains education materials for all methods.

    • Tracks and monitors caregiver training and proficiency requirements.

    • Provides ongoing training and coaching for caregivers.

    • Coordinates and provider new physician on-boarding in collaboration with Office of Physician Staff Affairs.

    • Coordinates physician remote access connection to the EMR when required.

    • Promotes maximum utilization of EMR within the physician group.

    • Serves as primary contact for caregiver EMR related issues.

    • Provides ongoing techniques to better incorporate and utilize the EMR.

    • Identifies opportunities for improvement and works with the administrative team to design and implement these improvements.

    • Works with project teams associated with the development and/or implementation of clinical systems as required.

    • Works with ITD/CSO to promote and improve clinical information system work flows and act as a regular faculty member for caregiver education.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    • Associate’s degree in related field.

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Certifications:

    • Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field.

    • Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN) strongly preferred.

    • Must have a valid State driver's license (VDL), a good driving record.

    Complexity of Work:

    • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

    • Experience with clinical information systems or computerized physician order management preferred.

    • Experience in education/training/teaching or human resources development preferred.

    Work Experience:

    • Minimum of four years of applicable clinical experience preferably in a multi-entity health care system.

    • Offset:  Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

    • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

    • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

    • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 pounds.

    • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
