Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating the implementation of system-wide cost containment programs relative to specific Supply Chain initiatives; coordinate and facilitate SMAC (Supply and Materials Action Committee) meetings along with sub-committee meetings and present results to Leadership to support decision making. Serves as a direct liaison to Physician Groups, Supply Chain and Hospital Management for system-wide product and vendor standardization; utilizes communication, in-service consultation, and education to ensure a seamless process in maximizing cost-saving opportunities. Analyzes financial, clinical, operational, and statistical data in support of organizational performance improvement (PI) initiatives and other projects. Formulates summary conclusions. Works with Leadership, and other organizational/external personnel as required. Makes financial decisions to support the Health System based on data from multiple sources. Works collaboratively with Clinician customers and Vendor partners to achieve the goals of Erlanger Health System.
