  • Whole Kids Co.
  • Colorado, CO FULL_TIME
  • Whole Kids Co. is a multi-disciplinary Counseling and Autism Center with two locations serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Whole Kids Co. was founded on the belief that whole kids are raised by whole, healthy, engaged families. We believe this is true for both our clients and our team members. Our shared culture supports not only the kids we serve, but enhances each team member’s skillset. We respect and value a collaborative approach to heal children through testing, ABA, OT, PT, Speech, counseling and parent support.

We are looking for understanding and compassionate individuals to join our growing ABA team.

Position Pay: An important note to our future BCBA: Since we started providing ABA services in 2017, we have developed a trauma informed method of delivery that seamlessly correlates with Dr. Greg Hanley’s HRE (Happy, Relaxed, Engaged) approach. His procedure maintains an environment where children’s needs are met, they feel relaxed to learn, and are engaged with staff and peers. Here at Whole Kids Co. you will have the opportunity to work for an organization who values every member of the team and strives to achieve each member’s greatest potential, all while working in a collaborative team environment. Traditional ABA requires following through with demands immediately, regardless of the occurrence of maladaptive behavior and dysregulation. Our approach allows us to prioritize regulation prior to following through with demands. We do this by putting the demand on hold, regulating our client, and then coming back to the demand when the client is regulated, relaxed, and engaged with the task to increase learning. Most importantly, we shape behavior at a pace that works for the unique child. We focus our teaching & shaping primarily through NET (natural environmental training).

Position Qualifications: A Licensed BCBA with experience working with individuals with special needs. In addition, a requirement is a Deep Appreciation for a trauma informed approach to delivering ABA amongst an equally talented multidisciplinary team. Further this person should desire and celebrate the least aversive approach in shaping behavior, and must possess a learner mindset when it comes to working with kids with trauma.

We offer a competitive compensation which values experience and education. In addition to the competitive pay, Whole Kids Co. offers Full-time staff members access to group Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, an annual CEU reimbursement stipend, paid time off to begin accruing your first day of employment.

Company wide Whole Kids Co. team members experience a Work/ Life Balance which is encouraged and protected. Flexible work schedule/ collaborative schedule planning and work from home/Telehealth flexibility. PCM (Professional Crisis Management) training, CPR training, Mileage reimbursement for in-home, collaboration meetings/ employee trainings, exposure to a multi-disciplinary, commitment to premium technology solutions (Central reach - data collection; TheraNest - to aid in scheduling and progress notes; ADP - aid in accurate payroll), sensory rich, clean, aesthetically-pleasing work environment, insurance credentialing, culture that promotes creativity, continual learning, innovation, and program development supervision from qualified professionals and Clinical Director.
