Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Description:
The selected candidate will serve as the central contact for applications used within the hospital. Applications include but are not limited to Meditech, Redoc, Mach 7, McKesson and eMDs. Analyst are responsible for implementation, training and upgrades for the main HCIS systems. Application Analysts are responsible for the creation and maintenance of user requested reports, work-flow changes, upgrade implementations, module support and provider education. This position requires interaction with end users (Physicians, Radiologists, Nurses, and other Hospital Departments) and SRMC's third party vendors. The IT Clinical Application Analyst must develop relationships and communication channels to ensure status feedback and cooperation among these groups and will ensure that all services are performed professionally, delivering complete customer satisfaction.
