Clinical Outcomes Analyst jobs in Gulfport, MS

Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Clinical Analyst - I/S Applications - Variable - FT
  • Memorial Hospital at Gulfport
  • Gulfport, MS FULL_TIME
  • Responsible for project management, analysis, design, configuration, implementation, maintenance and support of the organizational systems’ clinical computer applications. Responsible for assisting and planning the installation and continuous development of the applications network. Coordinates established procedures related to information systems operations ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of system output. Provide assistance, problem-solving, and technical information to customers regarding the use of clinical software applications.

    Required Qualifications:
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or related clinical field. Associate Degree in a clinical field with three years of experience in the licensed profession may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.

    Licensure: Current licensure as indicated by profession.

    Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience (with degree requirement) or 5 years’ experience (with an Associate degree) in a hospital or clinic setting and experience using an electronic clinical documentation system.

    Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of operating systems and applications software, PC applications, and user education program development. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Education: Master’s Degree.

    Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.

    Experience: Experience in Informatics and Automated Clinical Information Systems. Experience as a subject matter expert with Electronic Health Record (EHR).

    Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office: Word, Access, Excel, Windows, and Outlook.
