Clinical Outcomes Analyst jobs in Harrisburg, PA

Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.   • UPMC in Central Pa is seeking a qualified nurse practitioner for our Surgery Optimization Clinics in York and Hanover. The nurse practitioner will independently participate in the delivery of direct patient care as it applies to pre-surgical patients in the Preoperative-optimization, assessment, consultation and treatment clinic.

    Providers in the Surgery Optimization Clinic work with patients to improve their health prior to surgery focusing on uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking cessation, and nutrition with the boa of reducing the risk of surgical complications. In this rewarding and dynamic opportunity, this provider will enjoy an excellent work-life balance as a part of a multidisciplinary team in a well-supported, collegial environment.

    Position Details:


    No Call
    Must be able to work autonomously.
    Ideal experience includes anesthesia, pre-op, inpatient endocrinology and any surgical specialty
    Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate positive clinical outcomes.


    Professional Skills:


    One year experience preferred.
    Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure and Registration by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    Graduate of an accredited CRNP program
    Valid/current CPR/ACLS certification
