Clinical Outcomes Analyst jobs in Huntsville, AL

Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Qualifications

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: Education:Associate Nursing Degree required from an accredited college or university, Bachelor in Nursing from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience:Prefer a minimum of two years experience in patient medical record review, preferably of cardiac patients. Previous medical staff committee experience and cardiac nursing experience preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities:Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to work independently with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to make presentations and conduct training sessions necessary. Strong knowledge of cardiac nursing preferred.
