Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Provide technology support to one or more operational business units of the Medical Center. Participate in team planning and discussions, prepare sections of team documents, lead small to medium-sized projects, and participate in larger projects. Realize that the daily emphasis of this position is task completion and project completion, according to specific instructions. Understand that these activities usually require the implementation of known approaches, perhaps with modest modification, rather than the engineering of new solutions.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Have a solid working knowledge of at least one area of IRT.
    • Work with other operational areas to ensure the effective and integrated delivery of information technology services as required for assigned projects and routine operations.
    • Lead small to medium-sized projects and recruit project resources.
    • Participate in project activities (e.g., define project scope, conduct system research and evaluations, recommend selection and implementation processes, predict impact on other Medical Center units, prepare team documents, give intradepartmental presentations).
    • Serve as an information technology liaison with the client community.
    • Assist in the resolution of application production problems.
    • Maintain application profile tables (e.g., configuration of HMC-specific parameters for an off-the-shelf application).
    • Use vendor-supplied tools to perform ad hoc reporting.
    • Recruit resources from other information technology teams as required to resolve problems.
    • Responsible and accountable to comply with cyber security policies, standards, and processes in accordance with the Enterprise Cyber Security Program Plan.
    • Formally document, design, manage, and/or operate in accordance with cyber security requirements.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.
