Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or other related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.7 years of direct experience as a system analyst required.
Certification and Licensure
MT(ASCP), CT(ASCP), LPN, Pharmacy Tech or required or other similarly recognized certifications.
Skills and AbilitiesExperience with and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Office Applications.Ability to work independently and be result oriented.Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components.Ability to lead.Special Physical Demands
