Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Reports to Director of Information Services. Works closely with and takes direction from Clinical Systems Analyst II. Responsible for implementation, maintenance, and support of the clinical information systems. Serves as a resource for and liaison between Information Systems, nursing departments, ancillary and support services, physicians, and other users of clinical information systems. Serves as project manager for clinical information systems projects. Provides input into the design of education programs and provides education to clinical users on information systems use
Minimum Work Experience
Three or more years experience in related field.
