Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness.     Description of Duties:

    • The Coordinator of Assessment and Student Learning Outcomes (The Coordinator) will develop, lead and champion a comprehensive institutional assessment program to support SUNY Polytechnic Institute's strategic goals and accreditation needs.
    • The Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Coordinator of Institutional Research (IR) and with all of the administrative units, faculty governance, faculty, and student affairs to lead and guide the planned assessment activities designed to evaluate progress on strategic goals and student learning outcomes.
    • The Coordinator will be responsible for creating a culture of assessment, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating the information related to institutional assessment and student learning outcomes, leading and guiding faculty and staff with assessment tools and accreditation needs, partnering with the IR department on middle states assessment reports and for contributing to IR dashboards.
    • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

    Reporting Relationships:

    • Though there are no direct reports to this position, there is collaboration with members from Institutional Research, Academic Deans, Program Chairs and Coordinators, Provost Office, and Middle States Co-Chairs.

    Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000

    Job Requirements:


    Minimum Requirements:

    • Master's Degree or related field from a University or College accredited by the US Dept. of Education or other internationally recognized accrediting organization AND at least 5 years of leadership experience in a related or relevant field.
    • The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of management and the campus community.
    • Three years of experience in institutional assessment and assessment of student learning outcomes.
    • Program evaluation experience that includes expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
    • A general understanding of both face to face and online education and the ability to work with faculty and staff across a wide range of disciplines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ph.D. or Ed.D. or related field from a University or College accredited by the US Dept. of Education or other internationally recognized accrediting
