Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. jobs in Albany, GA
Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. JOB SUMMARY- Works collaboratively with users of clinical information systems, including nurses, physicians, ancillary staff, management, and information systems analysts. Responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of clinical information systems. Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer application and to ensure the Information systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice.
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- 4 - 5 years Experience in Clinical Informatics. (Required)
- 4 - 5 years Change management experience. (Required)
- 4 - 5 years Experience with large-scale education roll out. (Required)
- 4 - 5 years Project Management experience in a healthcare setting. (Preferred)
- 4 - 5 years Experience in implementing and/or upgrading a clinical application in a healthcare setting. (Required)
- 3 - 4 years Clinical Experience (Required)
- Required Certifications/Licensures: RN, RT, PT/OT or Current Georgia Licensure in Healthcare related field, Clinical Informaticist Certification
