Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The responsibilities of the Clinical Systems Analyst include but are not limited to, to oversee and manage all EMR and Clinical systems, products, and applications ensuring that their designs, content, and definitions integrate to support our providers, nurses, and clinicians to achieve the defined clinical workflow, process and performance goals (safety, quality, compliance, productivity, and financial), and outcome expectations and objective of our organization. The Clinical Systems Analyst facilitates the integration and use of new technologies and devices within the EMR. In addition, the Clinical Systems Analyst plans, communicates, leads and coordinates the implementation and use of new content, designs, upgrades, functions, features, products, etc. with all affected areas and users in advance of production deployment. The Clinical Systems Analyst manages customer expectations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives and also assists in supporting the hospital clinical system and provide help desk support and participating in on call rotation and other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Systems.
Licensed as an RN in the state of Kentucky. Associate’s degree in related field required. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Information Technology experience is preferred.
